            The study has been commissioned by the Representation of the European Commission in the Cz
            The main goal of the project is to implement a study analysing how Czech civil society has

            and been affected by the country’s membership in the EU over the past ten years. The analy
            four areas:
             

            • 1. The development of civil rights, democratic participation and civil society organizat
            • 2. The increasing transparency and accountability of such institutions that help citizen

              difference in public life (including those running programs under Structural and Cohesio
            • 3. The ways the capacity of Czech civil society organizations is strengthened by their p
              EU programmes (funded by the ESF, Europe for Citizens etc.);

            • 4. The broadening scope of EU-level activities of Czech civil society organizations (inc
              networking with organizations in other member states).
