The project is developed within the 7th EU Framework Program and coordinated by DIW Berlin. The CESES is one of its 14 consortium partners. It aims to outline a research framework for the field of “security economics” and to study the economic aspects of specific security problems and policies.



Finance and Mental Health Services Training in Czech Republic/Central Europe

The objective of the joint project of the CESES and School of Public Health, University of California, Berkeley, is to make high-level interdisciplinary post-doctoral studies in the US available to economists, sociologists, psychologists, physicians and/or graduates of other social or political sciences from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Bulgaria, and Romania.
